As CPA.com’s Director of Strategic Events & Marketplace Engagement, Heather H. Collins leads the company’s enterprise-wide events strategy, connecting firms, partners and technology solution providers through high-impact programs and networking. She oversees CPA.com’s full event portfolio, including large-scale industry conferences such as AICPA ENGAGE, firm and partner events, thought leadership symposiums and executive initiatives. She also spearheads CPA.com’s annual flagship Digital CPA (DCPA) conference, shaping its end-to-end strategy, programming and execution.

With nearly 20 years experience working across the accounting profession, Heather has delivered complex, large-scale conferences and executive-level meetings that strengthen relationships, elevate brand visibility and support organizational priorities for diverse audiences. Her approach emphasizes aligning strategy, programming and stakeholders to drive meaningful organizational outcomes.

Prior to joining CPA.com, Heather held senior leadership roles at the California Society of CPAs and the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants, where she partnered with executive leadership and boards. Her work focused on creating forums for meaningful dialogue that informed direction-setting across governance, talent development and profession-wide priorities.

Heather holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Textile and Apparel Management from North Carolina State University. She lives in Durham, N.C., with her husband and two children.
