Justin Korth

Justin Korth, CPA, Shareholder, began his public accounting career in 2016 and currently serves as Chief Operating Officer of Lutz, where he oversees firmwide operations across tax, audit, and client advisory services.

As COO, Justin is responsible for scaling the firm’s infrastructure, technology, and operating systems to support sustainable growth while preserving Lutz’s people-first culture. He partners closely with firm leadership on strategy, capacity planning, leadership development, and execution—ensuring the firm delivers consistent, high-quality outcomes for both clients and employees.

Prior to becoming COO, Justin served as the firm’s tax department head, where he led department growth and operational oversight and developed talent. Throughout his career, he has led several high-impact initiatives, including the firm’s Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) and Employee Retention Credit (ERC) efforts, as well as the establishment of Lutz’s international operations in India. He is known for his ability to translate strategy into action, combining systems thinking with disciplined implementation.

In addition to his operating responsibilities, Justin remains actively involved in select tax consulting engagements for high-net-worth individuals and closely held businesses. His areas of expertise include estate and business planning, credits and incentives, and taxpayer representation before the IRS.
