Respondents will receive comprehensive survey results to help understand key performance indicators and inform their audit transformation strategies.
NEW YORK (June 2, 2025) – CPA.com, the business and technology subsidiary of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), is now accepting responses to its audit benchmark survey, which aims to understand the state of audit transformation within the accounting profession and provide valuable insights to participating firms.
The audit benchmark survey is open to practitioners and leaders of U.S. CPA firms of all sizes that are navigating the changing landscape of audit.
The 2025 survey seeks to deepen understanding and deliver further insights into how firms are adopting new methodologies and technologies to drive audit transformation. It will offer key insights into areas impacted by evolving professional standards, technological advancements, modernizing audit methodologies and talent strategies.
“The audit profession is undergoing a profound shift, fueled by the fast-paced technology landscape and growing client needs for deeper insights and more comprehensive risk management,” said Emily Remington, Director-Audit Product Management, CPA.com. “The audit benchmark survey is an expansion of our efforts to provide firms with leading insights and research to best guide their firms for ongoing success.”
Survey responses will be accepted through Aug. 8, 2025.
Survey participants will receive comprehensive survey results and insights into benchmarks and key performance indicators from audit practices across the country, as well as a personalized firm comparison to other survey participants. A summary of key survey insights will be included in the 2025 audit benchmark survey report that will be released later this year.
