Summary

CPA.com is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to support the strategy and execution of B2B omni-channel marketing programs for a portfolio of CPA.com products, services and technology partners. This role partners cross-functionally to bring integrated campaigns to life across inbound and outbound channels, driving category awareness, engagement, demand generation and customer enablement. This person will develop a marketing plan and execute activities in support of that plan including email campaigns, copy writing, search and social media, supporting sales activities, tradeshows, reporting, event marketing and support, as well as cross-organizational planning.

The ideal candidate has strong project management and collaboration skills, along with a solid foundation in B2B marketing, preferably within the accounting channel and/or a SaaS or technology organization. This individual translates business objectives into actionable marketing plans and supports data-driven optimization to meet performance goals.

Key Responsibilities

 

Marketing Strategy & Execution

  • Leads the strategy and execution of targeted and integrated omni-channel marketing plans that drive customer awareness, retention and acquisition strategies for specific CPA.com product portfolios and key partnerships.
  • Leverages marketing channels including email, search engine optimization, social media, advertising, tradeshows, webinars/seminars, conferences/events, and web exposure to execute campaigns that drive customer interest and demand for products.
  • Drives targeted campaigns utilizing automation and CRM tools, segmenting audience based on profile criteria and/or activities and behavior
  • Contribute to thought leadership strategy with content and PR teams, including webinars, panel sessions, whitepapers, research reports, social media content, blogs and corporate slides.
  • Analyze campaign performance and recommend optimizations to improve engagement, pipeline impact and ROI.
  • Develop campaign briefs and manage marketing timelines using project management tools to coordinate the development and promotion of assets.
  • Collaborate with senior marketing management on program, content and activation/demand gen to execute holistic marketing plans and provide feedback to meet or exceed marketing goals and KPIs.
  • Collaborates actively with internal and external partners and agencies including product, sales, rev ops, social media and PR teams to align on goals, messaging, and execution.
  • Review and proof campaign assets to ensure alignment with brand standards and target audience needs.
  • Track marketing budgets and support evaluation of marketing investment effectiveness.

Product & Category Marketing Support

  • Collaborate with program and content teams to create KPI-driven, multi-channel marketing plans for category awareness, customer engagement, demand generation and post-sale enablement.
  • Drafts compelling copy for content marketing that includes emails, blogs, social media posts, web pages, FAQs, tip sheets, and other enablement tools.
  • Partner with sales and professional services teams to understand firm needs, pain points, and opportunities; translate insights into effective campaign messaging.
  • Support development of messaging frameworks and positioning materials in collaboration with technology partners.
  • Coordinates, supports and builds promotional campaigns for webinars, including post-event campaigns.
  • Stay current on partner technology trends and accounting industry developments through research and industry engagement.
  • Provides support with business review data by updating marketing calendars, folders and PowerPoint decks

Reporting & Insights

  • Ongoing and active review of performance to optimize campaigns and efforts based on KPIs
  • Develops and execute testing strategies, measuring and monitoring performance, and recommending new offers, creative, or tactics to boost performance.
  • Compile timely campaign performance reports and provides insights for internal stakeholders and partner updates.
  • Share actionable insights with cross-functional teams to inform future marketing planning and optimization.
  • Measure and analyze the impact of marketing activities on pipeline performance, revenue contribution, and sales cycle trends
  • Monitors, tracks and reports on ad placements such as publications, social and retargeting.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and database software, human resource and contact management systems, and MS PowerPoint.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree with relevant major from a 4 year college or university
  • 5-7+ years of B2B marketing experience. Preferably in the accounting profession, professional services or a technology company.

Knowledge, Skills, and Other Abilities:

  • Proven experience developing and implementing integrated marketing plans and campaigns that have met or exceeded goals.
  • Expertise and proficiency in marketing automation platforms, CRM solutions, email marketing, social media, and SEO/SEM campaigns.
  • Excellent verbal, written, visual/presentation and communication skills. Ability to create compelling communications content including emails, website copy, blogs, videos, social content, talking points and more.
  • Project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines, navigate competing priorities, and effectively adjust work plans to respond to emergent challenges or opportunities.
  • Creative, detail-oriented, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently to accomplish agreed upon objectives and to evaluate results.
  • Expertise in marketing automation platforms, CRM solutions, email marketing, social media, and SEO/SEM campaigns (required).
  • Strong analytical skills including the ability to recognize patterns and opportunities through data.
  • Proficiency in the use of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Co-Pilot, Google Gemini and other equivalent generative AI platforms
  • Experience with Pardot and Salesforce a plus.
  • Experience with A/B testing a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel (10-15%) of the time.
