We are seeking an active CPA to join our Audit Professional services team as a Senior
Manager, Audit Implementation Consulting. This role is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of
audit software implementation consulting at top CPA firms, guiding them through both a
technology transition and a methodology transformation.
The ideal candidate brings deep audit practical experience, a strong grasp of accounting and
auditing standards, and a track record of working on internal teams through complex software
implementations inside CPA firms. You will consult firms on the whole implementation lifecycle:
project timeline development, methodology conversion, configuration, training strategy, data
migration planning, go-live, and post-implementation support while partnering with firm leadership
to drive change across their audit practice.
This is a Senior Manager level position. A CPA license is strongly preferred; candidates without a
CPA must bring substantial assurance experience in addition to audit technology implementation
experience (see Qualifications).
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead Implementation Engagements: Manage the end-to-end process of implementing the
Dynamic Assurance Solution suite at mid-to-large public accounting firms, ensuring on-time,
on-budget delivery across engagement types as applicable to each firm’s practice. - Client Discovery & Planning: Work with firm leadership, from managing partners, audit
partners, quality leaders, and IT, to develop tailored implementation plans. - Methodology Conversion: Guide firms transitioning from PPC, KBA, or proprietary audit
methodologies onto the new Methodology, including mapping existing programs,
addressing gaps, and reconciling firm-specific practice aids with CPA.com built resources. - Audit Practice Change Management: Design and execute change management strategies
specific to audit practices: securing partner and front-line buy-in, aligning to busy-season
constraints, planning phased rollout by engagement team, and addressing the practical
concerns auditors raise when moving to a new methodology and platform. - Project Timeline Management: Define and manage project timelines, milestones, and
deliverables across parallel workstreams where firms are deploying multiple solutions. - Pre-sales Support: Collaborate with the sales function to provide product suite expertise,
including demonstrations, scoping conversations, and technical validation for prospective
firms. - Go-Live Support: Provide hands-on support during the go-live phase and first live
engagements, ensuring seamless transitions and addressing methodology and
configuration questions as they surface in real audits. - Post-Implementation Support: Serve as the key point of contact for ongoing support,
including issue resolution, adoption monitoring, and sustainability of the implementation
across the firm’s audit practice. - Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product,
sales, and client success teams to ensure alignment and client satisfaction. - Other duties as assigned.
