CPA.com DCPA Social Contest Official Rules

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCE OF RECEIVING THE GIVEAWAY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

The following Contest Official Rules ("Official Rules") apply to your participation in the DCPA Social Media Contest, offered by CPA.com at DCPA2023. Please read these Official Rules before participating. By submitting an entry, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules and you acknowledge that you satisfy all Contest eligibility requirements.
To participate: To participate in the contest, take a selfie inside the conference at DCPA2023, post your selfie to social media with the hashtag #DCPA23 or #DigitalCPA no later than December 6, 2022 11:00am PT. On-site DCPA attendees that post a selfie with the event hashtag(s) will be given a DCPA laptop bag while supplies last. The contest will begin on December 3, 2022. CPA.com reserves the right to cancel the contest at any time. One entry per eligible person will be considered. Persons who post on social media multiple times are only eligible to receive one prize. The contest is VOID WHERE PROHIBITED or restricted by law and is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. CPA.com reserves the right to ask for additional information at any time for purposes of determining entry eligibility or fraud prevention.
Eligibility: Open to all DCPA2022 attendees 18 years or older as of December 3, 2023. Employees of AICPA, CPA.com, Bill.com, Paychex, Sage Intacct, Vertex, Expensify, LukkaTax, CaseWare, Biz2Credit and their subsidiaries and affiliates, and their immediate families, are ineligible.
Prize: eligible DCPA2023 social entries may receive the DCPA laptop bag while supplies last. The bag will be available at the DCPA23 registration desk. No substitution or transfer of prizes permitted, except at the sole discretion of CPA.com. Each prize will be awarded "AS IS" and WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, express or implied (including, without limitation, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose). You agree that CPA.com’s decisions related to the Contest and all distribution of prizes are final. Any prize not claimed under the terms of these Official Rules may be deemed, in CPA.com’s sole discretion, to be forfeited and returned to CPA.com.
Prize Retrieval: eligible DCPA2023 attendees that may retrieve their prize from the DCPA23 registration desk after showing the staff proof of your eligible social post. The prize winner will be responsible for picking up the prize. A prize winner may be required by CPA.com to submit written acceptance of the gift, a waiver of liability, or proof of eligibility.
Applicable Law: The awarding of the prize is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
