She has more than 18 years of experience with an expertise in optimizing accounting processes through software applications. In early 2011, Nicole was tasked with selecting and implementing new systems to standardize and optimize the outsourced accounting and financial management processes that the firm manages for its clients. The firm chose to implement cloud-based platforms to achieve its shared services vision and satisfy the needs of its current and future clients. The outsourcing group supports several industry verticals, including life sciences, consumer products, technology and business services. These clients consist of owner-managed and venture capital backed start-up, emerging growth and lower-middle-market businesses. Since its inception in 2005, Fesnak and Associates, LLP, a full-service firm offering audit, tax, financial management and transaction advisory services, has grown from 13 to 65 employees, while expanding its Financial Management Outsourcing business.|

In addition, Jennifer provides advisory and mentoring services to growing CPA firms seeking to successfully establish best practices, educate and motivate management and staff during periods of change, and streamline integrated processes in a cloud-based environment.
Jennifer’s prior experience includes over 10 years in public accounting with a specialty in technology consulting. She was also the controller for a large multi-state staffing company, where she managed 19 remote offices and a staff that processed weekly payroll for over 7,500 agency employees.

Headquartered in Roseville, California, the 10-year-old firm specializes in the not-for-profit niche, providing financial and tax expertise, including financial reporting, payroll, bill management and controllership services to churches and other faith-based organizations. As a VAR and BPO for both Intacct and Bill.com as well, Chaney & Associates has expanded its services to businesses, organizations, and associations by leveraging its progressive cloud-based accounting processes and business management proficiencies.
Steve draws on 16 years of experience and knowledge to educate and consult others on how to leverage cloud-based platforms for efficiency and effectiveness within their organizations and CPA firms. Prior to starting Chaney & Associates, Steve worked as a corporate tax manager for hire with a big four firm.
