Assistance for Firms Impacted by Hurricane Sandy

• Intacct - The cloud-based accounting solutions company will provide 90 days of free services for CPA firms who are helping storm-wracked small businesses.
• Bill.com - The bill management solutions company will offer its complimentary data entry service – meticulously inputting vendor and bill information into a secure, searchable database – for up to six months for affected firms.
• Paychex - The payroll, benefits, and human resources firm has a robust business continuity plan in place to keep services rolling for storm-damaged firms, and has posted dedicated contact information to speed CPAs to the right resources. You can download a useful resource from Paychex here.
• XCM Solutions - The tax, audit and practice management workflow firm will offer advice and services to help CPAs manage staff forced to work in remote locations during storm recovery. XCM is also extending free use of XCMessential, a workflow solution targeted to sole practitioners and smaller practices, through the end of the year to help firms caught in Sandy's path.
• Confirmation.com - The electronic audit confirmation firm has assigned a dedicated client lead to advise and assist firms impacted by the storm.

A free Nov. 16 webcast "State of Emergency: How the CPA Can Lead During Disastrous Times," will offer tips on guiding clients through planning and rebuilding.
